Colin Newell

As the Scientific Desk Officer in the MoD’s Directorate of Equipment Capability Ground Manoeuvre – DEC (GM) – Colin Newell is responsible for Mounted Close Combat Research.  He is the customer for all Armoured Fighting Vehicle (AVF) and Manoeuvre Support research, which includes sponsorship of the QinetiQ-led Vetronics research programme that forms the basis of the MoD’s open architecture policy on Land Platform.
